What characteristics did you look for in a spouse?
“Since I wasn’t active in church, I just wanted someone tall
and handsome. And I got him. He joined the church about 6 years after we
married. And then we went to the temple
a year after. He is a real stalwart in
the church and the family. This year we will have been married 58 years. We’ve had good times and bad times. Happy times and sad times. But we’ve survived it all OK.”
