Did you go shopping much with your mother? Where was you favorite place to go shopping?
"We never went shopping because there was no place to shop here, and we didn't have the money to go shopping. Our shopping was done out of Montgomery Ward Catalog. If we saw a cute dress or skirt and blouse we liked, she would make one just like it for us with no pattern. She ordered the material from Montgomery Ward or used material from something some one gave her for sewing for them. Some of the ladies were quite large and she could get 2 dresses from one they have her for sewing for them."
