Tell about your favorite uncle.

“I think it had to be my Uncle Elmer Berry.  My mother’s brother.  I lived near him and didn’t know my Dad’s family or my mother’s other brothers very well.  Although I would have to say I thought very much of my Dad’s brother, Uncle Paul.  He was so kind to our Matthew that I couldn’t help but love him very much.”

Describe your mother’s wedding dress.  Tell what you know about her wedding.

“Sorry, I can’t tell you much about her wedding or her dress because I wasn’t here.  I do know her parents didn’t want her to marry him and there were no pictures.  But I have seen pictures of others wedding dresses and they were beautiful.  So I’m sure hers was, too.  I do know (as I’ve said before) there could have been none more beautiful or lovely as she always was.”

“I admire a happy, sensitive, concerned, loyal, kind, and a willing-to-do-things-before-being-asked personality.  Probably like Rosemary Anderson, and others.”

Do you go camping?  What do you like or dislike about camping?

“We go camping every year in the mountains.  Before we had a travel trailer, we got wet every night and hung our quilts and blanket on a tree to dry.  Also our wet clothes.  But we got a small travel trailer, then a largest one and then a larger one.  Although it is larger, it sleeps less people that our smallest one.  It has more fancy things that we really don’t need camping, but we still go to the mountains on reunion and we stay 3 weeks.”
